Providing quality theater on City Island since 1999.

Christopher McGowan

A native “Rock” dweller, Christopher has been working with CITG for many years.  His first “role” was directing the one act play, Sorry, Wrong Number.  After graduating from Adelphi University with a BFA in theatre, he spent three years playing the role of Michael Just, Tina’s ex-boyfriend in off-Broadway’s Tony and Tina’s Wedding.  He has been seen and heard in various shows, commercials and voiceovers.   He was last seen on the CITG stage in Cabaret as the Emcee and later directed Steel Magnolias. He is very honored to be a part of The Laramie Project and the powerful message that it is trying to spread.
