Providing quality theater on City Island since 1999.

John B. Coppola

Even though John has been directing for 30 years in NY and CT, this is his first directorial assignment for CITG.  An actor and set designer, John is Professional Engineer in NY and NH and still works part-time between his theatrical projects. As an actor, some of his  favorite roles were Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, FDR in Annie, and Walter Hollander in Don't Drink The Water. His roles don't stop at comedy, he has had lead roles in Carnival, Mame, The Pajama Game, Guys and Dolls, Oklahoma, and minor roles in Fiddler, Oklahoma, and My Fair Lady.  Directing endeavors have been Baby, Babes in Arms, Auntie Mame, You Can't Take it With You, Rehearsal for Murder, Arsenic and Old Lace, Harvey, Night Watch, etc.  As a family man, John enjoys his 4 Children, 5 Grand Children and 1 great-granddaughter and a tireless spouse who has been the director of the New Rochelle Opera Co., for 27 years. Thank you to the entire CITG staff for all their help and . . . let's do it again.
