Nathan was born and raised in West Bend, Iowa. His first acting experience was while attending St. Peter & Paul grade school, playing a priest in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Nathan went to St. John's Prep in Collegeville, Minnesota and St. John's University (Collegeville). While there, he performed in a few plays as a drunk. He came to NYC in 1968 and played Joseph in the Throggs Neck Community Players production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Nathan is very involved in the RAIN Eastchester Senior Center where performed in an original show as "Hayman," a bad guy! He is the editor of the Senior News for RAIN and a member and former President of the New York City Society of Scribes. He would like to dedicate his performance to his family, especially his wife: former Councilmember, Madeline Provenzano.
